It is the top of the front peak of Holy Spring Mountain with a head drop of 388 meters. There were nine dragons display in front of the mountain. The heads of these nine dragons all stretch out to Huaisha River. It was splendid. These nine dragons look like kasaya of Maitreya. They sway in the wind. The upper part of the mountain was quite plump, like a kindly, lovely and happy Maitreya. Once getting on the Maitreya top, you would feel all other mountains are so small. To the north, you can see the nine-hole pavilion of the Great Wall, to the west, you can see JunDu Mt., to the east, are the Miyun Town and Simatai Great Wall, to the south, we can see Shunyi Town where there is the Capital airport. If the weather was fine, we can also see the Tower of CCTV and Asian Sports Village.Here was the perfect place for climbing and sight viewing.
